Green Woodpecker

Certainly the most colourful of the British woodpeckers, the green’s distinctive ‘yaffle' is more often heard than the bird is seen. However, this hide provides a truly memorable experience photographing this iconic bird from just 3m away. There’s no need for big lenses in this hide as both male and female are 100% comfortable with the established hide and shutter sounds, but should you wish to use longer lenses then there are options to feed at greater distances as well.
